Pat shrimp dry with a clean paper towel.
In a large deep-sided fry pan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add garlic. Cook for 1 minute, until aromatic. Add shrimp to pot, cook until pink and curled. Transfer to a plate, set aside, cover with foil.
Place pasta, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, cream and broth in an 11″ saute pan. Cover and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring frequently, until pasta is tender. Top with shrimp, cover and cook 1 minute more. Salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley. Enjoy!
