March Madness Buffalo Chicken Dip


  • 10 ounces chicken, canned or pre-shredded
  • 1 container(16oz) cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet ( 1/2 ounce) Ranch seasoning mix
  • 3/4 cup Buffalo Sauce
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bunch green onion, Sliced
  • 1 jalapeno, Sliced (optional)


Step 1 – Heat oven to 350F.  

Step 2 –In a large bowl, mix your chicken, hot sauce, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and half the shredded cheese.  Slice green onion to ¼” pieces.

Step 3 – Transfer mixture into oven to table ceramic dish. Top with remaining cheese.

Step 4 – Place into oven and cook 18-22, until cheese is melted. 

Step 5—Remove from oven and top with sliced green onion.

Serve with celery, sliced carrots, or chips. 

Recipe Notes

For an extra kick, add one sliced jalapeño before serving.
