Caramel Marshmallow Krispies

Quick and easy, these homemade treats take just 5 easy ingredients and 10 minutes or less to make!


  • 1 14-oz. package Kraft caramels
  • 6 c. Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • about 50 large marshmallows
  • 4 T. butter


In a microwavable safe container, add your caramels butter and sweetened condensed milk. Heat in the microwave, minute by minute (stopping and stirring just about every minute) for about 5 minutes or less until the caramel mixture is smooth and creamy. Be careful not to overcook as the caramels will burn. Set out three different bowls. Place the marshmallows, caramel and Rice Krispies cereal separately in each bowl and create a dipping and rolling station. Dip the marshmallows in the caramel mixture once it has cooled off enough to work with, using a spoon or spatula to aid in the dipping if needed. Once fully smothered in caramel sauce, roll the marshmallow into the cereal pressing firmly as you roll until the marshmallow is completely covered in cereal. Set each "puff" spaced about 1/2 inch apart onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Allow the caramel to set (it will become more firm as it cools) then serve right away and delight your hungry crowd! Enjoy!
