Swap out the chocolate chips for bacon crumbles, blueberries, or cinnamon and sugar if you like, and serve with a bowl of maple syrup for dipping.

Pancake Dippers

Delicious, easy-to-make pancake dippers are perfect for breakfast on-the-go.

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 6 mini muffins


  • 1 cup of favorite boxed pancake mix, prepared
  • 2 Tbsp mini chocolate chips


Heat oven to 350°F. Spray muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.

In a medium bowl mix together pancake mix according to instructions. In one cup of prepared pancake mix and stir in 2 tablespoons of mini chocolate chips. Scoop 1 tablespoon of pancake batter into prepared mini muffin pan. Top with a few more mini chocolate chips and bake for 6-7 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Serve with warm maple syrup.


If you make multiple batches you can freeze the leftover muffins on a wax paper lined tray. Place the frozen muffins in a freezer bag. Reheat 4 at a time for 45-60 seconds.
