Quick Party Cake

A homemade dessert that’s easy to make is a win every time. This quick party cake is one we make again and again just for that reason. And it’s incredibly good. The recipe starts with a simple cake batter, and we add our favorite fall spices for flavor. Applesauce and buttermilk make this cake super moist. The batter bakes up in a Sweet Creations Textured Nonstick Oblong 9×13 Cake Pan. It features a channeled surface for airflow and even baking and has a nonstick layer that’s easy to clean. As the cake cools, prepare the frosting.

To make the sweet and tangy frosting, whip softened butter and cream cheese with electric beaters or in a stand-up mixer. Start adding in powdered sugar one cup at a time. Adjust the sweetness to your liking, adding more powdered sugar by the cup if it’s not sweet enough. Add in the vanilla, followed by the milk, adding one teaspoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.

Once the cake is completely cooled, frost with a GoodCook Touch Spatula Spreader. Decorate with your favorite bright and colorful sprinkles. That’s all it takes to make this irresistible spice cake!
