A great no-bake dessert! Grill it outdoors or use a cast iron pan to create great grill flavor from the indoors. No matter how you grill it, sweet bourbon-soaked pineapple, buttery angel food cake and mounds of vanilla ice cream simply scream summer.
With a PROfreshionals Pineapple Slicer, peel core and slice pineapple. Place pineapple slices in a resealable plastic container, drizzle with bourbon or ginger ale. Marinate for at least 1 hour, and up to overnight.
Grill pineapple on outdoor or cast iron grill until edges begin to caramelize. Spread butter on both sides of the angel food cake slices, grill just until light and golden.
Serve angel food cake topped with pineapple and ice cream. Drizzle with caramel sauce and serve with a maraschino cherry on top.
