Start any meal off right with a no-fail basic pizza dough. Soft and slighty sweet, this simple homemade pizza dough is perfect rolled thin and cooked until crispy, or rolled thick and baked until chewy.
In a large bowl, whisk together water, sugar, olive oil, yeast, and salt. With a wooden spoon, stir in the flour 1 cup at a time, until the dough begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl. Turn the dough out onto a clean, lightly floured work surface. Knead the dough 20-30 times, until it becomes soft and elastic. Cover the dough with a clean cloth, allow it to rest for 15 minutes. Roll out, place dough on a lightly greased Good Cook pizza pan. Top as desired. Bake in an oven preheated to 475 degrees for 10-12 minutes, just until the cheese begins to bubble.
