Was it your favorite college casserole? Or did your family have it for dinner once a week? No matter where your memories of this 70’s-era casserole came from, there’s a good chance you’ve got lots of ’em. So do we! So we thought it would be fun to bake that over-the-top indulgence into easy little serving-sized bites, perfectly portioned for resolution season.
Better yet, we’ve baked up a big batch of them in the Good Cook AirPerfect Nonstick 24-Count Muffin Tin. Cook up to 24 muffins in a single batch with this double-sized pan. You’ll have enough to feed the family for dinner–and have leftovers all week long. When you’re done with this recipe, the pan fits one box of muffin mix. No more batch baking, with this kitchen essential on hand.
Fun Flavor Twists
Enjoy this recipe as written below. Or try these easy upgrades:
- Swap the Sauce. Any creamy sauce works well in this recipe. Alfredo, cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup all taste great.
- Add Sausage. Swap in crumbled Italian Sausage for the turkey here. Ground chicken, beef or bison also works.
- Change Up the Cheese. We added sharp cheddar, but shredded swiss, provolone, jack or cheddar-jack also taste delicious.
