Funfetti Loaf Cake
For the cake
- 1 box cake mix
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 4 whole eggs (use only egg whites for a more fluffy loaf)
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup sprinkles
For the glaze
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 Tbsp heavy cream
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
Directions for the Cake:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cake mix, buttermilk, oil, flour, eggs, and vanilla in a mixing bowl until well combined. Stir in sprinkles gently, just until mixed in. Pour 4/5ths of batter into Sweet Creations Textured Nonstick Loaf Pan. (The remaining batter can be frozen for later use, or used to make cupcakes or a small cake layer.) Bake 35-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Directions for glaze:
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until well combined. Warm-up in microwave, and drizzle on top of cooled cake. Top with your favorite sprinkles.
