My mother makes the best Sausage Cheese Balls on the planet. They are a huge family favorite and the perfect type of comfort food everyone craves when we get together. Fantastic for breakfast or parties, these melt-in-your-mouth little bundles of deliciousness freeze well too.
Several weeks ago, I had the opportunity to be back in my mom’s kitchen. She was prepping Sausage Cheese Balls for a party and I captured the recipe so you can see just how easy it is to make this delicious appetizer. It’s so easy, in fact, that I’m willing to be this isn’t just one of the best appetizers on the planet, it’s also one of the easiest. They’re awesome for summertime potlucks and picnics. Everyone literally runs to the buffet table to fill their plates with these little balls of flavor. This recipe is also ideal for the holiday season. It makes more than enough to feed a crowd, and uses ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. I love that you can basically keep everything you need for this recipe always on hand, then whip up a huge batch in no time at all. Great for last minute guests, an awesome cocktail party appetizer, no matter how you serve my mom’s Sausage Cheeseballs, they’re sure to become a favorite.
Here’s a Tip: My mom makes a huge batch then often freezes them on cookie sheets lined in parchment paper. Once frozen she transfers them to freezer storage bags, then cooks and serves the amount desired whenever wanted.
Watch this video I made of my mother sharing her recipe with you and showing you how she makes the Best Ever Sausage Cheese Balls. I hope you enjoy them as much as our family does!
