Host a Burger Bar
Looking for a fun way to finish off your next grill party? Serve a “burger bar” for dessert! Set out a cooler full of ice cream flavors (don’t forget a few ice cream scoops!). Add a platter of pre-sliced cake donuts and a variety of sprinkles (ainbow and chocolate jimmies, rainbow chips, toffee bits, bacon bites, crushed candy bars and Oreos all make great options). Then, invite guests to build their own burgers for dessert. They’ll have a blast!

Prefer to pre-make a batch of burgers, instead? That works, too! Simply slice cake donuts in half, fill with scoops of ice cream, roll in sprinkles and freeze until firm. Frost with our creamy ganache and freeze again until ready to serve.

Donut Ice Cream Burgers
Ice cream sandwiches with a twist. Cake donuts make these no-bake treats extra sweet.

- 4 cake donuts (or 8 mini donuts), chocolate or vanilla
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
- 3/4 cup sprinkles
- 1/2 cup milk or semisweet chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons butter
Slice donuts through the center with a sharp knife. Top one half of donut with a large scoop of ice cream. Press the second donut half on top. Roll the edges of the donut in sprinkles. Place in freezer for 1-2 hours. In a medium microwave-safe mixing bowl, heat chocolate chips and butter together for 60-90 seconds, or until melted. Stir together until smooth. Spread on top of donuts. Return donuts to the freezer for 1 hour more. Serve and enjoy, or wrap donuts in plastic wrap or parchment and enjoy within 1 week.
