Sliced Apple Pancakes

Sliced Apple Pancakes - apple rings are dipped in pancake batter and then cooked until golden brown for a sweet breakfast treat.


  • 4 large apples, sliced into 1/4 inch slices
  • 1 batch pancake batter (box mix or homemade)
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 3 Tbsp caramel ice cream sauce


Heat a non-skillet or griddle over medium high heat. Prepare pancake batter according to package instructions. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Dip apples into prepared pancake batter. Let excess batter drip off and place in hot pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until golden brown. Flip and cook for 2-3 more minutes. Whisk together maple syrup and caramel sauce. Drizzle over pancakes.
