Bourbon Honeyed-Cherry Brie


  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/8- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup Mrs. Cubbison's Fruit & Nut Pieces Mix, pecan and cranberry or any variety
  • 2-4 tablespoons bourbon (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh cherries
  • 1 round or wedge of brie cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • Crackers for serving


Place honey, bourbon (if using), cayenne, and Mrs. Cubbison’s Fruit & Nut pieces mix in a microwave safe container, and heat for 45 seconds to soften the honey, stir to combine and allow to rest.

Pit cherries using GoodCook Cherry Pitter and roughly chop.

Place brie on a serving platter and top with cherries, and finally drizzle with bourbon honey mix. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Serve with crackers or toasted bread..

Optional: Serve the brie warm and creamy. Simply if wrap the wedge or round of brie in foil, place on a warm grill. If using a round, brush with oil and place directly on a low-heat grill, cooking for about 2 minutes per side to char and warm through. Place on a serving platter and top with cherries, honey, sea salt, and serve with crackers.
