The most simple and delicious Jalapeno Poppers you’ve ever eaten!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together bacon bits, cream cheese, 1 c of cheese and onion salt. Fill jalapeño halves with cream cheese mixture. Transfer stuffed peppers into a nonstick baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and peppers are soft and tender. Remove and cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro, if desired.
