3-Ingredient Shortbread Cookies

Whip up a batch of buttery shortbread with this simple recipe. Perfect for cutting into any shape you want, the dough holds its shape without spreading too much while baking.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350° F. Line a Good Cook Air Perfect cookie sheet with parchment paper. Step 2: In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add flour and continue to mix until mixture forms a soft dough. Roll dough 1/8-inch thick on a surface dusted with flour or powdered sugar with a well-dusted rolling pin. Use the Sweet Creations Letter Cookie Cutters and press into the dough. Gently pull up the cutter to reveal your dough letters. Use extra dough around letters to make as many extra letters as you can! Bake for 2-4 minutes, or just until the letters begin to turn a light golden brown. Sneak into your child’s lunchbox! Larger cookies will need to be baked for 6-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
